Seabrook, Texas is only about 20 miles from my house, but it's another 40 for the Sanfords from Hardin. Nice distance for lunch with friends. So on November 13th, Jim (Honda Shadow Sabre) and Dianne Sanford (Honda Shadow VLX) and their daughter Emily (Kawasaki Ninja 250) met Cyrus Fannett (Yamaha VStar Classic) and his son Ryan at our house. Jan Chapman and her daughter Ashley drove over, and Brenda Fannett and Ken Hill as well. Brenda and my wife Jacquelyn rode down in Brenda's car, and Ken drove his car. Jan rode on Jim's bike and Ashley rode on mine.
We had good hamburgers and onion rings, and a great time. Here are a few photos taken by Jan and Ken.
Ken's photos are the first 5. Dianne after getting gas, then all of the Sanfords, then Emily (forground) and the rest of us at my house, then myself on the FZ1 with Ashley on the back as we're leaving. The 5th photo is on the Fred Hartman bridge between Baytown and LaPorte. The rest of the photos were taken by Jan (or with her camera), and show the group in front of our house after we returned.
