Kyle's Torch Red 1999 Chevrolet Corvette

Houston, Texas, November 9, 1998 -- Kyle is at Allen Samuels Chevrolet inspecting the 1999 Corvette he ordered. It has been through PDI (Pre-delivery inspection) and make-ready. Kyle has to make sure everything is as he ordered it, and alright, before he tells the credit union to send the money to the dealer, Maxie Price Chevrolet in Atlanta, GA.

That means he won't get to take the car until the 11th.  :-(

I went to take pictures. :-)  Click on the thumbnail images to see larger 320X240 images.

I just got here, and Kyle's busy checking things out. Looks good so far.

This is the "Head Up Display." You can't really tell much from the photo, but this looks great in person.  The HUD allows you to see critical gauges without taking your eyes off of the road. You can configure it to show the information you prefer, and it will automatically display critical information as events occur.  This technology comes from Hughes Aircraft, and is used in many fighter jets.

The Kodak DC20 doesn't do too well inside the dark car, but Kyle's definitely smiling!
